Believe it or not, spring break is right around the corner for those in school! Whether your kids are older or younger, spring break is a really fun time for the family, and it’s a great time for you as parents to take PTO and travel with your kids. You can travel far or stay close, it’s up to you. But we’re going to give you 5 Texas spring break destinations that are perfect for kids.

Corpus Christi

As the weather starts to warm up in Texas, beach vacations become more and more attractive! Even if it’s not as warm as you would like, Corpus Christi is still a great spring break spot for many reasons. There are many outdoor attractions like beach activities and picnics as well as indoor ones like going to the water park.

Lake Texoma

If you’re not looking for a tropical location but still outdoors, Lake Texoma in North Texas is a good option. You can camp out at the lake, enjoy the sun and outdoors with your family, and explore the downtown areas nearby.

Austin

If you’re looking for a more inland destination, Austin is a good place to start. On top of there being many great food spots to check out, Austin is also the state’s capital, so there are many educational opportunities for you and your family as well.

Dallas

Dallas is another good choice for spring break destinations for you and your family. You can explore fun new restaurants, visit the aquarium or art museums, and even go to six flags! Dallas also has a lot of fun surrounding cities as well that you can venture out to.

Big Bend National Park

An outdoor location that won’t be on the beach is Big Bend National Park in far West Texas. This is a great spot for you and your family to camp, hike, and explore the outdoor world together!

You’re sure to make some fun new memories together no matter where you and your family go together for spring break. The goal is to have fun!
